About the PR

Comments out Helios spawning, replaces with a detection-hidden and slightly revamped jupiter

Adds:

  • More gunnery
  • Tweaks mech bays
  • Adds lots of lattice and external docks
  • Extends rear section space
  • Adds previously helios-only functionality (data farm, comm console, overwatch, shipyards, administration console, req uplinks, vizier stuff, role spawns, vouchers, etc)
  • Tweaks Jupiter description
  • Makes jupiter not able to be detected with ir/visual signature

Why / Balance

PDV gameplay is boring. Maybe this will be fun

(could use some howiterz but then it becomes a big siege stick which is meh)

Howitzers need some separate tweaking so maybe after that

Personally would vibe more if there was an extension done to the rear in some form, both to add more docks and expand the silhouette so it feels more like a moving base. I feel like the removal of helios justifies placing extra bofors and the like around the frame as well, so its not just a sitting duck when a real faction raid fleet shows up.

I'm really not a fan of the abandoned/ruined dock on the left, the one on top right feels way better since it looks more optional to repair it

also can we make this part actually connected to something, it sucks when freshly bought ships docks there and you cant get to it

  • 0 PD, please it needs 360 degree PD, try using 20mm cannons for it!

  • Try adding in a couple of fangs at its backside too, keep in mind the 500GP limit
    (or 3K if you havent decided to switch it from station gunnery)

Extra notes:

  • Suggesting to turn it into a new gamemode to see how well it plays out

  • While jupiter is "hidden" on paper.. in practice you can find it within seconds by zooming out and panning the radar.. Try giving it a unknown/thermal sig
