Rolled shade, infact, TWICE, but nothing happened

Reproduction:

EXACTLY as the title says, I don't know why, I rolled normal shade once, didn't spawn, time progresses, rolls second shade, nothing. No idea why this happened.

this is intended, if you "fail" to pass checks after rolling shade (like the person using a shard just dropping the shard) it will fail the roll
kinda stupid but thats how it works
