This page attempts to document the current state of MO2's game support and known issues that are specific to certain games. The following games are supported:

  • Skyrim Special Edition
  • Skyrim
  • Skyrim VR
  • Oblivion
  • Morrowind
  • Fallout 4
  • Fallout 4 VR
  • Fallout 3
  • Fallout New Vegas
  • Tale of Two Wastelands

Oblivion

MO2 lacks OMOD support. Most mods should provide an archive version with a .7z or .rar file. Use these instead.

STEAM: OBSE does not work for the Steam version of Oblivion.

OTHER: OBSE DLL plugins need to be manually installed in the Oblivion data folder to work.

Morrowind

Local game settings must remain enabled! Disabling them may result in corrupting your profile's settings while leaving local game settings enabled. See issue #503 for more details.

Local game saves do not work! You can enable them in the profiles dialog but they won't do anything. See issue #504 for more details.
