Hospital Management System

A console-based Hospital Management System developed in Java using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). The project allows users to manage patients, doctors, and appointments, with support for data storage using text files.

How to Run

  1. Clone the repository.
  2. Open the project in VS Code.
  3. Compile and run Main.java.
  4. Use the menu to manage patients, doctors, and appointments.

Future Improvements

  • Migrate the current console-based application to Spring Boot.
  • Develop RESTful APIs for managing patients, doctors, and appointments.
  • Replace text file storage with a relational database such as MySQL.
  • Use Spring Data JPA for database operations.
  • Add authentication and role-based access for different users.
  • Develop a web-based user interface for the system.
