Legacy iOS Kit can be used to restore iPod touch 3rd gen and iPad 1 devices to iOS 6, a version that these devices did not support.

This makes use of SundanceInH2A by NyanSatan: https://github.com/NyanSatan/SundanceInH2A

Usage

1. Connect your device to your PC/Mac.
2. Start the script by running restore.sh
3. Select Restore/Downgrade -> iOS 6
4. Download/select the IPSW for:
   • iPod touch 3rd gen: iPhone2,1 - iOS 6
   • iPad 1: iPad2,1 - iOS 6
5. Download/select the IPSW for:
   • iPod touch 3rd gen: iPod3,1 - iOS 5.1.1
   • iPad 1: iPad1,1 - iOS 5.1.1
6. Start the restore.
7. Enter pwned DFU mode when prompted.
8. When the restore is done, the device should boot to iOS 6.
