My work sits at the intersection of people, technology, and problem-solving. I spend my time on backend systems and APIs, AI-powered applications, and tools that turn data into useful decisions.
Psychology taught me to ask: Why do people behave this way?
Engineering taught me to ask: How can we build something that works?
AI makes me ask: What becomes possible when we combine the two?
I'm drawn to problems where the technical solution is only one part of the equation. The harder part is understanding the people using it.

I care about more than getting code to run.
I care about understanding the problem before solving it. Building systems that are maintainable, not just functional. Designing around real users and real constraints. Making complex systems understandable. Learning the why, not just the how. Using technology where it creates meaningful value.
Code is communication. It should tell a story.
My background in psychology directly influences how I approach software.
It makes me naturally curious about human behaviour, decision-making, user experience, systems thinking, communication, and learning. I'm especially interested in how people interact with AI.
I don't see psychology and engineering as separate. One helps me understand the people. The other helps me build for them.
AI agents and agentic systems. Backend architecture at scale. Distributed systems. Deeper work with LLMs and prompt engineering. Cloud infrastructure and DevOps. Data-driven products. The emerging field of human-AI interaction.
I'm experimenting with Ruby and other languages to understand how different design philosophies approach the same problems. There's something valuable in learning across different ecosystems.
When I'm not building software, you'll find me writing poetry, playing piano, drawing, playing basketball, thinking about psychology, or distracted by cats.
I'm interested in working with people who are building interesting things, solving meaningful problems, and asking difficult questions.
