• Tracing Foundations

  Tracing support was designed when there were only 2 event sources: github & jira. We need to revisit this to ensure that there is a foundational approach that we can reasonably expect to scale across all event sources. I think this will require: - Unique Identifiers (solved) - Unique human friendly identifiers - Valid trace locations for each event type (ie can github branch name reference a trace? can github issue body?) - ?
