As the founding engineer of ShareRide, a startup I co-founded, I'm deeply involved in crafting a solution to Nairobi's commuting challenges.

ShareRide is designed specifically for the city's middle-class population, offering an innovative ride-sharing platform that bridges the gap between expensive ride-hailing services and crowded public transport. By connecting private car owners with commuters heading in the same direction, we aim to provide a quicker, more comfortable, and affordable way to travel across the city.

• Stock Market Data Pipeline - A recent project focused on viewing AAPL share stock prices for the past year. I built an end-to-end data pipeline from ingestion to processing to loading into a database. This project also features Slack notifications for pipeline success or failure and integrates Metabase for dynamic data visualization.

• DALLRD Daily Commodity Prices - Developed a system to automate the collection and processing of daily commodity prices for the DALLRD (Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, and Rural Development). The project involved data scraping, cleaning, and visualization, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.

• Facial Recognition System - Implemented a facial recognition system using Python and OpenCV. This project was focused on enhancing security measures through biometric identification, capable of recognizing and verifying individuals in real-time.
