About The Pull Request
An idea from Tadano. Basically, it aims to reduce the ammount of faction by maps, to only leave one, with the minor factions. This is an attempt to reduce the TDM aspect of the game, but still permiting for conflict and more character and story driven interactions.
Tadano's Idea was to make multiple version of a same map (Pahrump BOS, Pahrump NCR, Pahrump Legion). Can work. But this PR here aims to make things more interesting by taking our Big Iron V1 map and set it in Yuma.
So.
Combined with Mexico (see #218) who would serve as the Legion centric map,
Current Pahrump will be the NCR centric map, revolving arround the NCR and Eastwood trying to work (and fail) eachother,
And Yuma, a modified versions of our old Pahrump map from Big iron V1, revolving arround the BOS and Kebab (under Church and Merchant Control)
PAHRUMP
Due to its position west from Vegas, and close to NCR teritory, the legion couldn't hold position longer. The 3rd company made a push and cut the local cohort's supply route, forcing them to retreat. The balance of power shifted, with the brotherhood, fearing an attack aswell, regrouped in their bunker in Yuma. The NCR controled the area. In a final attempt to slow their advance, some enclave remnant attempted to destroy the NCR base. They succeded. But, the NCR found a way to ignore this loss : Eastwood would join the NCR.
There will not be a lot of changes on Pahrump the mains be :
NOTE : A POLL ASKING IF THE PLAYER BASE PREFER TOWN BASE OR SEPARATED BASE WILL MADE ON DISCORD. PLANS MAY CHANGE
YUMA
The Yuma Front is a stalemate that is slowly going cold. The NCR first company are holding the west side of the Colorado, but doesn't have enough man power to deal with the legion for good. The legion knows that and laugh. They don't care for the area, just the control over the Colorado river, so the can use it to transit people and gear to Cottonwood cove and the Fort. The real power of the area is the Brotherhood, crushing NCR patrols and not yet marked by Caesar. They share control with Kebab, and its misterious church.
