# Subscription-Attendance Log Integration Implementation

## Issue #218: [CONTRACT] Integrate Subscription and Attendance Log Contracts

### Overview
This implementation enables the `subscription.rs` contract to call `attendance_log.rs` for logging subscription events (create/renew).

### Changes Made

#### 1. **contracts/manage_hub/src/errors.rs**
- Added new error types for subscription functionality:
- `InvalidPaymentAmount` (Error #8)
- `InvalidPaymentToken` (Error #9)
- `SubscriptionNotFound` (Error #10)
- `UsdcContractNotSet` (Error #11)
- `AttendanceLogFailed` (Error #12)

#### 2. **contracts/manage_hub/src/lib.rs**
- Added `subscription` module declaration
- Imported `SubscriptionContract` and `Subscription` types
- Exposed public API methods:
- `create_subscription()` - Creates a new subscription and logs event
- `renew_subscription()` - Renews existing subscription and logs event
- `get_subscription()` - Retrieves subscription details
- `set_usdc_contract()` - Sets the USDC token contract address

#### 3. **contracts/manage_hub/src/subscription.rs**
Enhanced the subscription contract with cross-contract integration:

##### Key Functions Added:
- **`create_subscription()`**
- Validates payment (amount, token, payer authorization)
- Creates subscription record with Active status
- Stores in persistent storage with TTL extension
- **Calls `AttendanceLogModule::log_event()`** with "subscription_created" action

- **`renew_subscription()`**
- Retrieves existing subscription
- Validates payment
- Updates expiry date and status
- **Calls `AttendanceLogModule::log_event()`** with "subscription_renewed" action

##### Helper Functions:
- **`log_subscription_event()`**
- Creates event details map with action, subscription_id, amount, timestamp
- Generates deterministic event_id
- Invokes `AttendanceLogModule::log_event()` for cross-contract call
- Handles error propagation with `AttendanceLogFailed` error

- **`generate_event_id()`**
- Creates deterministic BytesN<32> from subscription_id
- Ensures unique event identification

##### Cross-Contract Integration:
- Uses `AttendanceLogModule::log_event()` for internal contract calls
- Passes structured event details (Map<String, String>)
- Proper error handling and propagation

#### 4. **contracts/manage_hub/src/test.rs**
Added comprehensive test suite for subscription-attendance integration:

##### Test Cases:
1. **`test_create_subscription_success()`**
- Verifies subscription creation
- Confirms attendance log entry is created
- Validates log contains correct action type

2. **`test_renew_subscription_success()`**
- Tests subscription renewal
- Verifies both create and renew events are logged
- Checks updated subscription details

3. **`test_renew_subscription_not_found()`**
- Error handling for non-existent subscription

4. **`test_create_subscription_invalid_amount()`**
- Validates payment amount checks (> 0)

5. **`test_create_subscription_invalid_token()`**
- Ensures only USDC token is accepted

6. **`test_subscription_cross_contract_call_integration()`**
- **Primary integration test**
- Verifies cross-contract call to attendance log works
- Validates all event fields are logged correctly
- Confirms subscription_id matches in log

7. **`test_multiple_subscription_events_logged()`**
- Tests multiple subscriptions for same user
- Verifies correct event ordering
- Confirms action types for create vs renew

### Acceptance Criteria ✅

### Technical Implementation Details

#### Cross-Contract Call Pattern

This pattern:
- Uses internal module call (not `Env::invoke_contract` as contracts are in same module)
- Clones environment and addresses for ownership
- Converts any errors to `AttendanceLogFailed`
- Propagates errors up the call stack

- `contracts/manage_hub/src/test.rs` (+268 lines, 7 new tests)

### Future Enhancements
1. Implement proper number-to-string conversion for amount and timestamp logging
2. Add cryptographic hashing for event_id generation (currently uses simple deterministic method)
3. Implement actual token transfer logic (currently validation only)
4. Add admin authorization checks for USDC contract configuration

### Notes
- Implementation follows Soroban SDK best practices
- Uses `no_std` compatible code throughout
- Proper TTL management for persistent storage
- Comprehensive error handling
- Test coverage for happy path and error scenarios
