Surfaces the acknowledgments (thank-you to OpenAI for keeping the Micro open, plus Work Louder and contributors) directly on the repo home page instead of only linking to ACKNOWLEDGMENTS.md.

  • Adds a dedicated ## Acknowledgments section to README.md.
  • Removes the now-duplicated thank-you paragraph from the "Relationship" section (kept the non-affiliation + reverse-engineering caveat).
  • Full notes still live in ACKNOWLEDGMENTS.md.

Docs-only; no code paths touched.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Expanded the acknowledgments section with credits for project contributors, design influences, and adapters.
    • Added a link to the dedicated acknowledgments document.

Move the OpenAI/Work Louder/contributors thank-you out of a link-only
reference and onto the rendered home page as its own section, so it is
visible without clicking through to ACKNOWLEDGMENTS.md.

Poem

I nibbled the README, crisp and bright,
Added thanks in a tidy flight.
OpenAI and builders cheer,
Contributors hop near and dear.
A link now points where praises gleam—
Squeak, documentation dream!
