Thanks for the write-up! Just one suggestion to add a link to CERN twiki page about getting account on NP04.

A few comments:

• I would add examples of acceptable and not-acceptable GitHub usernames, or provide very specific suggestions/requirements. I think that with a username of kurtb123, it would be easy to identify me, but you probably wouldn't agree with that, so we should make it very clear what is expected.
• In the second bullet in the "For Coding" section, it would be great to have something more specific than "more details below". Can links be provided to the relevant bullets lower on the page that give the actual instructions? Or can the information be simply put in this second bullet in the "For Coding" section?
• Would it be helpful to put the "For Communication" section first? If people have questions about "For Coding" or "For Computing", maybe it would be useful for them to ask on a Slack channel...
• Could we put a link in the "Next Steps" section to the daqconf Wiki so that users are reminded of the simple steps to create a software area?

One quick comment: with the CERN account you get a premium Zoom account automatically, so no need to get an extra one really.
