feat(workflow): emit source_address on promoted subgraph widget rows - #1038

Conversation
workflow slots advertises a promoted subgraph widget at <instance>.<name> and hides the interior widget behind it, so a consumer could not tell which interior node and widget a row stands for -- a renamed promotion (459.clip_name_1 for a CLIPLoader.clip_name) or two same-class loaders in one subgraph were indistinguishable. Each promoted widget row (linked, nested, or a repairable legacy proxyWidgets entry) now carries source_address, the concrete interior widget resolved through deepest_source: <instance>/<interior>[/<deeper>].<widget>. Additive only: address, node_type, current_value and the hidden-interior rule are unchanged.

with the existing promoted_source_port resolver before returning an address;
return no address when the resolved port is missing. Pass the graph from each
caller so the resolver can perform this validation before source_address is
published.

- Line 1010: Update the promoted subgraph widget row description to state that
it carries source_address only when resolvable, and make the corresponding
changelog wording equally clear that the key is optional. Keep unresolved slot
rows valid without source_address so consumers do not require it on every row.

Validate the terminal widget against the catalog before publishing source_address, so a promotion whose interior class no longer has that widget does not name a dangling address. A class the catalog does not know is trusted as saved. Docs and changelog now say the key is optional. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

deepest_source, source_value, promoted_source_port and as_promoted_input scanned a definition's nodes without the isinstance guard every other walk uses, so a null entry crashed `slots` with no JSON envelope. Route them through _inner_node. Document which promoted rows omit source_address (primitive bypass, proxyWidgets-only inputs). Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
…b-widget A promoted dynamic-combo sub-widget (model.max_images) passed the declaration check whenever its selector was a dynamic combo, even when the saved selection does not expose it. Check the sub-widget against the interior node's value-aware widget order before publishing the address. The terminal-node walk is shared with promoted_source_port. When a workflow wraps its model loaders inside a reusable group, the list of editable settings showed only the group's renamed knob (like "clip_name_1") and hid which real loader setting it controls. Each of those knobs now also says exactly which inner node and setting it stands for, so a tool reading the list can tell two identical loaders apart and see through renamed knobs.
What
comfy workflow slotsrows for a subgraph instance's promoted widgets now carrysource_address: the concrete interior widget behind the promotion, as<instance>/<interior>[/<deeper>…].<widget>(e.g.459.clip_name_1→459/473.clip_name).deepest_sourcehelper (the onepromoted_source_portuses), so nested promotions resolve to the deepest concrete widget (10.value→10/3/7.value). Rows whose chain does not resolve omit the key, so it is optional. That includes a missing interior node, an interior class the catalog knows but that lacks the widget (a stale promotion), or a dynamic-combo sub-widget (model.max_images) the interior node's saved selection does not expose. tests/comfy_cli/cql(45 files + dir) gives 1878 passedprimitiveBypassrepair rows and the older unrepairedproxyWidgetsfallback rows omitsource_address(no single concrete interior source / not resolved through a promotion), per the "omit unless concrete" rule.Residual
proxyWidgetsfallback (a declared input with no backing link and no repair plan, read via_resolve_proxy_value) do not carrysource_address, even though the proxy entry names an interior node + widget. No fixture or ticket-named template exercised that path; a consumer that hits such a row sees no key and should treat it as "source unknown".source_address.
