Patch for Bean's Turret Pack
New Ammoset (TOW2A ATGM, but generically labeled 152mm anti-tank guided missile for now)

Notes

This is my first patch so there'll be some faults here and there, and some things I still don't understand. Most of the references for the XML code were from some CE defs and other mod patches, most notably the more recent Rimsenal - Security patch made by Tostov. Even then, I tried to respect the balance of vanilla defs (noticeable in ammo capacity) and a mixture of CE balance, to the best of my ability

Heavy turret's got similar stats to CE's heavy auto-turret, but this time being chambered in .50 BMG instead of 14.5x114mm.

Phalanx sentry was difficult to balance for me personally, so I set its default aiAimMode to Suppress, and nerfed some of the stats when I was initially patching it. Accuracy looks okay to me, since it has a harder time hitting humanoid sized targets, but will decently score hits against centipede-sized targets. CIWS works but cannot consistently score hits on incoming skyfaller targets.

As for the Missile launcher turret, I could not find a suitable analogue for a SACLOS ATGM typically used on tripod mounts and other vehicular mounts, the closest ones were the Javelin 127mm missile and MBT LAW 130mm missile, I would've used these if not for their single-shot disposable nature and zero appropriate ammo textures.
So I made the TOW missile ammo def just fo this purpose, but now it is (temporarily) generically labeled the "152mm anti-tank guided missile" for now, since there is still isn't a similar ammo in CE. The missile launcher's texture looks the closest to a typical tripod-mounted ATGM, most specifically the BGM-71 TOW, with this even more being prevalent with the popular Taste of Vanilla - Bean's Turret Pack retexture mod, this is a big part of the reason why I added a new AmmoDef. Other mods could use this too in the future, with vehicles being the biggest example like TOW-mounted Humvees and Bradley IFVs with TOW launchers. (and potentially helicopters with TOW launchers, if Vehicle Framework ever decides to have aircraft fly around in-map, in similar fashion to Aerocraft Framework's helicopters)

Hellfire sentry had been made to just fire 132mm rockets, since it is an area saturation weapon. I think the inaccuracy's okay, but still feels powerful enough as a weapon. Adjusted the ammo capacity from 4 to 8, a double from the vanilla def capacity. Need further reconsideration though.

Alternatives

Use RPG-7 rockets for Missile launcher. Boring.
.338 Norma Magnum for Heavy Turret

Testing

Check tests you have performed:

  • Compiles without warnings
  • Game runs without errors
  • (For compatibility patches) ...with and without patched mod loaded
  • Playtested a colony (15 minutes playing around with the turrets)
