Is registration also necessary for the test version?
I don't know what this means: "A rework of the API to meet the requirement of SciFinderN will be provided as soon as possible." Other users can not use the SciFinder modul due to university restrictions oder is the ELN having restrictions?
I replaced "Instance admin" by "Server Admin", I am not shure if this is the correct description, but it would be helpful for me to have one term for the admin resposible for "my" server. Maybe you can go through the pages starting from "Browser and access" to unify the term used for that admin.

@Rudori,

As far as I know, registration is required on the test server as well.

@PiTrem, can you help out answering this question?

Technically, there could be multiple instances running on the same server, hence instance admin I guess. To a user the distinction doesn't reallly matter, but as you suggest, consistency in using one or the other term is important.

Open for better wordings here to differentiate between administration levels:

  • server admins: people that have access to the installation files on the machine, can change global settings and restart the app.
  • ELN admin: person that can sign-in into the ELN as an Admin, to use the Admin UI and to change some settings.
