About The Project

This project was created by Aashritha, Ashleigh, Brie, Hannah, and Shivani during the Spring 2021 session of Codubee. We built this application as a solution to try and help shelter animals get adopted.

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps:

For the frontend

1. Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/Codubee/PetFinderTTH2-3.git

2. Change into the front end directory

cd frontend

3. Install NPM packages

npm install

4. Run the start command

npm run start

For the backend

1. Clone the repo

git clone https://github.com/Codubee/PetFinderTTH2-3.git

2. Change into the back end directory

cd backend

3. Install NPM packages

npm install

4. Start your node server

node index.js

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
