Of course, this event would not be possible without the help of our generous sponsors:

BrainsCAN Western CONP

The focus of our event this year was an intro to neuroimaging analysis, deep learning, and of course open science. To that end, we had a few awards to hand out:

  • Most Innovative Project (based on novelty, feasibility, and application): What do brain sound like?
  • Best Open Science Project (project making use of and contributes to open science platforms): AFIDS Validator & Artifically Intelligent Autobiographical Interviews
  • Most Enthusiastic Team (teamwork, motivation, collaboration): Is deeper better?

Check out our content below for archives and a summary of our event!

Video Archives

All of our videos are archived online with all of the material publically available (links can be found within the video description). A playlist can be found on here on our YouTube channel.

In addition, we were invited to sit in on The Western Integrative Neuroscience Lecture Series (TWINTalks) given by Blake Richards. A link to the recording will be posted when available!

Project Summaries

Over the course of the event, we've seen a number of projects come together. Here are some pictures during the project wrap up.
