Agile Framework

This page describes the Agile framework used in the Sawaka project. It defines how work is structured, prepared, delivered, and improved over time.

The goal of this framework is to ensure:

  • shared understanding between contributors
  • predictable and transparent delivery
  • continuous improvement
  • lightweight governance suitable for an open-source project

The following pages define the key elements of the framework.

Definition of Ready

Describes the minimum criteria a backlog item must meet before it can be selected for a sprint.

Definition of Done

Defines the quality standards that must be met for work to be considered complete.

Backlog Management

Explains how the backlog is created, refined, prioritized, and maintained.

Sprint Cadence

Describes the sprint rhythm, ceremonies, and review/retrospective practices used by the team.

Each page should be read together, as they form a coherent and consistent working agreement for contributors.
