Changes

Implement a check for Automatic Archive Invalidation, which doesn't do anything useful for Morrowind, but can crash OpenMW 0.48

THIS VERSION WILL NOT WORK WITH MO2 2.4.x AND EARLIER. YOU MUST USE THE 3.0 RELEASE OR 3.1 BETA.

Changes

  • Add compatibility with MO2 2.5.x, drop support for older versions as supporting both isn't feasible.
  • Get rid of old code that isn't necessary now older versions are unsupported.
  • Make it possible to choose the openmw.cfg path, improving support for portable OpenMW setups.
  • Optionally allow exporting to non-Morrowind games.

3.1.0 Beta 2 Pre-release
Pre-release

This has been living on my computer for over a year. I'm pretty sure I posted it to a bunch of places on Discord, but wasn't satisfied I'd got enough testing to actually do a release.

Changes

  • Conditionally avoid deprecated functions in favour of their replacements when using MO2 2.4.x or newer.
  • Restore compatibility with older MO2 versions by manually managing the parent widget. This hasn't been tested on older MO2 versions yet, despite me adding it because several people requested it. If someone still uses MO2 2.2.x or older, confirming this plugin works would be really helpful.

3.0.0

Changes

THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH MO2 2.5.X OR LATER. FOR NEW VERSIONS OF MO2, YOU NEED A NEWER VERSION OF THIS PLUGIN.

Features

  • Automatically detect the location of openmw.cfg.
  • Check for updates automatically (in MO2 2.3.2 or later - a bug prevents this working in older releases).
  • Only show the menu item when the managed game is Morrowind.
  • Various developer-oriented improvements, including:
    • VS Code integration
    • A build script
    • Code maintenance.
  • Translator-oriented improvements, including:
    • Automatic upload of new strings to Transifex.
    • Better use of format strings so I can change things in the future without requiring retranslation.

Bug fixes

N/A: No bugs were reported with the previous release.

Python 3 beta Pre-release
Pre-release

A version of Mod Organizer has been compiled with Python 3 support. This adds Unicode-by-default strings, which simplify parts of this plugin. This build won't work with the current 2.1.4 release of Mod Organizer, so you're likely to need to get a newer version from MO's Discord server.

Fixes a typo causing a crash when displaying the success message.

Ironic. He could notify you of the success of others, but could not succeed himself.

This release adds support for translating the plugin. If you like English the best, you'll see no changes. If you like another language better, then you can help by providing translated text for your language.
