در اینجا قصد دارم به صورت دوره‌ای ترجمه کتاب لینوکس از صفر (Linux from Scratch) را قرار دهم.

توضیحات کتاب

لینوکس از صفر (Linux from Scratch) نوشته Gerard Beekmans کتابی است که راهنمای ساخت یک سیستم لینوکس سفارشی از ابتدا با کامپایل و پیکربندی دستی تمام اجزا را ارائه می‌دهد و به کاربران در درک عمیق‌تر ساختار داخلی لینوکس کمک می‌کند.

فرمت

فایل ها با فرمت Tex ایجاد شده‌اند و برای استفاده از آن‌ها باید کامپایلر مربوطه را دانلود و نصب کنید.

برای این کار می‌توانید از نرم‌افزار‌های زیر استفاده کنید:

Windows, MacOS and Linux:

• MiKTeX

MacOS:

• MacTeX

فونت

فونت پیش‌فرض فایل Times New Roman است، در صورتی که تمایل به کامپایل فایل کتاب با فونتی دیگر دارید، می‌توانید نام فونت مدنظر نصب شده روی سیستم خود را در خط ۱۳ قرار دهید:
