Switches dependency updates to Renovate, using the shared presets from https://github.com/AlCalzone/renovate-config.
Behavior: monthly updates with a 7 day minimum release age, bumped ranges, direct dependencies only. Published library: no lockfile maintenance, since consumers resolve transitive dependencies themselves. Automerge for devDependency patch/minor, dependency patch and GitHub Actions minor/patch, done by Renovate itself once all checks pass. TypeScript minor/major wait for approval on the Dependency Dashboard.
Removed:
.github/dependabot.yml,.github/auto-merge.yml,.github/workflows/dependabot-automerge.yml.The
AUTO_MERGE_TOKENsecret is no longer used and can be deleted.
