Installation
PS: This is not necessary if you're installing with v1.5.1+'s new method of installation. Skip to it instead. You still have to install the Aqua model patch yourself.
If you don't know which is the version of your game somehow, you can click/tap and hold on it's icon, and you can see it:
ULJM05775 = KH Birth by Sleep Final Mix (Japanese/English Patched by KeytoTruth ver.)
ULES01441 = KH Birth by Sleep (Europe ver.)
ULUS10505 = KH Birth by Sleep (US ver.)
1 - To install, first download the texture pack(Links on the main page), then go to:
Windows .zip/Compressed/Git version: PPSSPPDir\memstick\PSP\TEXTURES
Windows Installer version: My Documents\PSP\TEXTURES
Android: PSP
2 - If the TEXTURES folder doesn't exist, create it, then AFTER, create either a ULJM05775/ULES01441/ULUS10505 folder(depends on your game's version), and then drag'n'drop all of the contents INSIDE Birth-by-Sleep-HD-ReMix-master on the new folder.
In the end, it should look like this for example: PSP/TEXTURES/GameVersion/TexturePackContent
3? - It should automatically work if you have not disabled texture replacement, if it's not working, enable it in Settings/Tools/Developer tools.
Please delete the folder before updating or it may cause errors.
WARNING: THIS IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH THE ENGLISH PATCH VER. DO NOT COME AT ME FOR SUPPORT IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT.
Before you proceed, make a backup of your game before doing so!
1 - Go to Textures/ULJM05775/Patches, and open the Aqua Model folder.
2 - Open xdeltaUI.exe, and do the following:
3 - Now just open your patched copy on PPSSPP, and enjoy!
PS: If for some reason, you cannot apply the Aqua patch, download Delta Patcher, open the program and follow the same steps as last time, however, before you click Apply Patch, click the Gear ⚙ button and disable Checksum validation.
PS: PPSSPP version v1.8.0-442 or higher is required to do this.
Installing the texture pack is way simpler now.
Start the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep game at least once, and return to the main menu on PPSSPP.
Then after that, drag the .zip file you've downloaded into the PPSSPP window.
Done!
This is not possible on Android.
If you cannot do this, fallback to installing like normal.
