🎙️ Mic On Demand

The microphone is no longer held open for the entire session.

  • Mic activates when Talk is pressed and releases immediately when deactivated
  • System tray icon now reflects mic state: ⚫ idle, 🟢 active
  • Players in Listen Only mode never activate the microphone at all

🚀 Automatic Windows Startup

On first launch, MPVC will ask if you'd like it to start automatically with Windows.

  • Click Yes to add MPVC to your startup folder automatically
  • MPVC runs silently in the tray — no manual launch needed before joining a server
  • Takes effect after the next Windows restart

⚡ Latency Improvements

  • Reduced mic bridge broadcast latency from up to 50ms to 1ms
