node tools/ad-copy-generator.js --demoNo API key needed for that. Add one when you want it writing about your own product.
Content tools mostly fail in the same way: they hand you one bland option and call it done. These are built around the opposite habit. Generate at volume first, then judge. Most of these tools return a ranked set rather than a single answer, because the twelfth headline is usually better than the first and you cannot know that until you have seen twelve.
They are also built for people who already know what good looks like. There is no wizard, no onboarding flow, no template gallery. You describe the offer, you get structured output, you edit it.

Requirements: Node.js 18 or newer. That is the whole list. There is no npm install because there is nothing to install.
git clone https://github.com/4mmar1mtiaz/Content-Agent-Helpers.git
cd Content-Agent-HelpersTry any tool with no key:
node tools/tagline-generator.js --demoPoint it at your own product. Set one key, whichever provider you already use:
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-...
# or
export OPENAI_API_KEY=sk-...
# or
export GEMINI_API_KEY=...Then feed it your brief, three ways:
node tools/ad-copy-generator.js "cold plunge tubs for home gyms, $2400, ships in 5 days"
node tools/ad-copy-generator.js brief.txt
echo "cold plunge tubs for home gyms" | node tools/ad-copy-generator.js -Get an HTML report you can send to a client:
node tools/social-media-calendar-generator.js "local pilates studio" --html--help works on every tool. So does --demo.
AI ad copy generator. Produces complete, paste-ready ads for each channel you name: hook, body, call to action and a targeting note. Not fragments you have to assemble, whole ads you can put into Ads Manager.
node tools/ad-copy-generator.js "meal prep service for night shift nurses"Hook generator for ads. Runs an eight-pass chain over your offer and returns dozens of openers, ranked. Hooks are a volume game and this is built like one. Pass one gives you the obvious angles, pass six starts giving you the ones nobody in your niche is running.
AI headline generator. Scores headlines on clarity, specificity, and whether the promise they make is one the product can keep. Feed it your existing headlines to find out which are doing nothing, or feed it an offer to get new ones.
Ad angle ideas. Maps the messaging angles available in a market and labels each one saturated, contested or unclaimed. Running your ad on a saturated angle is the most common reason good creative underperforms.
Ad copy compliance check. Hard-fails banned claims and flags the weak or risky ones before anything ships, checked against Meta, Google and TikTok policy. Comes back with rewrites, not just rejections.
node tools/ad-compliance-checker.js "Lose 30lbs in 30 days, guaranteed, doctors hate this"UGC script generator. Three scripts built on the three-channel rule: what the creator says, what the camera shows, and what appears as on-screen text. Most UGC scripts fail because they only write the first channel.
AI video script generator. Two full short-form scripts with timed shots, so you know the clip count and length before you book anything.
Landing page copy generator. Section by section: headline, subhead, body, proof, call to action. Structured so you can paste it straight into a site builder without rewriting the hierarchy.
Product description generator. Writes ecommerce descriptions from your feature list plus the language real reviewers use. The second input is the one that makes the difference.
Email sequence generator. A full 7-email nurture or pre-launch sequence with merge fields and the send day for each. Copy it into your ESP and set the delays.
Email subject line generator. Generates subject lines with preview text and checks each for length and spam risk. Open rates die on subject lines long before they die on body copy.
Copywriting swipe file. Extracts the phrases customers actually use from reviews and forum posts and turns them into reusable copy lines. Your best headline is usually already written, by a customer, in a review.
AI image prompt generator. Turns a vague idea into four complete prompts, each with subject, composition, lighting, style and aspect ratio. Works for Midjourney, Seedream, Flux, or whatever you are running.
node tools/image-prompt-generator.js "hero shot for a premium coffee brand"AI video prompt generator. Builds three cinematic shot chains, each with a still keyframe prompt and a matching motion prompt, for image-to-video models like Kling, Veo and Runway. The keyframe-then-motion split is what separates usable clips from slop.
Brand voice guidelines. Produces voice and tone rules with a concrete right and wrong example for each. Rules without examples are how brand guidelines end up ignored.
Free slogan generator. Returns 18 to 24 taglines grouped by type, each with a word count, the rationale behind it, and a note on how it could be misread. Volume plus judgement, in one pass.
Brand colour palette checker. Takes a palette and evaluates it for WCAG contrast compliance, then reports exactly which combinations fail and by how much. The palette that looks great in Figma is often the one that fails accessibility on the live site.
Font pairing generator. Five Google Font display and body pairings matched to a brand direction, with the weights to use and a fallback stack for each. Copy-paste ready.
Social media content calendar. A 30-day calendar built from your business description, phased across the month and matched to the platform. Removes the blank-calendar problem, which is the actual reason most accounts go quiet.
Instagram caption generator. Full captions plus hashtags, written for the platform you name. Handles the fact that a caption that works on LinkedIn dies on Instagram.
Every tool in this repo follows the same contract:
- One file. Copy a single
.jsout oftools/and it still runs anywhere. Nothing here imports anything else here. - Zero dependencies. Node built-ins only. No
node_modulesfolder, no install step, no supply chain to worry about. - Bring your own key. Anthropic, OpenAI or Google. Set one environment variable and the tool finds it. Your briefs go to the provider you chose and nowhere else.
- Demo mode.
--demoruns on hand-written sample data with no key and no network call, so you can see the output shape before committing. - HTML reports.
--htmlwrites a self-contained report. Send it to a client without asking them to install anything. - Honest degradation. Tools that want live web search say so at runtime when the provider does not offer it, instead of quietly inventing sources.
Are these free? Yes. MIT licensed, no signup, no seat pricing, no credits. You pay your model provider for tokens, which for most of these runs is a fraction of a cent.
Do I need an API key?
Not to try them. Every tool ships with --demo, which runs on built-in sample data with no key and no network call. A key is only needed to point a tool at your own product.
Which model provider works best?
Any of the three. The tools read ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, OPENAI_API_KEY or GEMINI_API_KEY and use the first one they find. Copy quality tracks the model you pick more than the tool, so use the best model you have access to.
Can I use the output commercially? Yes. MIT license on the tools, and the output is yours. Use it in client work, in your own ads, anywhere.
Will the ad compliance checker keep my account safe? It catches the known hard-fails and the common risky patterns across Meta, Google and TikTok policy. It is a first pass that removes obvious problems, not a legal review, and platform enforcement changes without notice.
Does the colour palette tool pick colours for me? It evaluates a palette you give it against WCAG contrast requirements and tells you which pairings fail. Use it to check a direction before you build the whole design system on top of it.
Why command line instead of a web app? A web app means my server, my rate limits and my pricing page between you and the output. A single file on your machine means none of those exist, and the tool still runs in five years whether or not I am maintaining it.
Can I use these inside my own scripts?
Yes, that is the point of the stdin support. Pipe into any tool with - and pipe the output onward. They compose.
Issues and pull requests welcome. If a tool gives you weak output, open an issue with the exact input and I will look at the prompt. If you build a twenty-first tool that follows the same one-file zero-dependency contract, send it.
