gun bug #72
Comments
Hi, in OXR Gunslinger- bullets come from the weapon's barrel. To achieve this effect, we use the weapon's fire point- which is configurable in ltx. This means, that weapons may not always shoot directly at where the crosshair is pointed unless they are reconfigured a little. You can use the hud tuner (accessible on Mixed build) to configure this more easily! Check out the video below :) S.T.A.L.K.E.R.Call.of.Pripyat.2025.02.09.-.23.49.17.05.mp4You can update the position and rotation until it appears centered, like so: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.Call.of.Pripyat.2025.02.09.-.23.54.58.07.mp4 |
What you said are unnecessary to Stalker imo, they also increase the workload when adding new weapons, are they really necessary to the mod? |
I understand, I plan to update this system so modders won't have to do any additional work, but I dunno when I will get around to that. Perhaps after all initial critical bugs with v0.2.0 are fixed, I will have time for it. Thank you for your understanding and patience! |
I tried to add finished weapon model to OXRG, all of them have zeroing issues, bullet drops deviated to the left severely, this problem persists even when I ADS.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior
Weapon ballistics should be normal.
