Preferably with a little settings-window in which you can play with all the possible options. And it'd be even better if every time you change a setting (i.e. check a checkbox or slide a slider), it tries to compress it already behind the scenes (if the image isn't too large) and it tells you what file-size you can expect from those settings. You know, like Preview does too:

So then this app would be able to open gif, png and jpg files and export them to jxl files, right? Adding this functionality, would justify making it an app at all, so I'm all for it. 😁
