This is caused by some regex changes in Erlang. It's recommended to stick to OTP 27 for the time being.

@tankwanghow if you need an alternative which works on otp-28 you can try out: https://hex.pm/packages/spreadsheet. Its not a replacement for this package.

I think this is solved by my merged PR #43, @xavier maybe it'll be good to cut a new release.

@tankwanghow with the new version 0.8.9, it should work for OTP28.
