Installation problem

I am trying to run catkin_male in an nvidia jetson, but it gets stuck at 8 percent: Building CXX object ssl_slam/CMakeFiles/ssl_slam_odom_estimation_node.dir/src/odomEstimationNode.cpp.o

I am not sure if there is an alternative to this, like building in another system and just somehow exporting it to the jetson.

Update: manage to fix it up with catkin_make -j2. Still I don't redcommend running it on jetson, it is too much processing load, it cannot handle it.
