How to check foreground process of the pane is terminated from the assigned key handler ?

I am using exit_behavior "Hold" configuration like
config.exit_behavior = "Hold"

When the process of the pane is terminated the pane shows like

👍 Process RemoteSshDomain completed.
This message is shown because exit_behavior="Hold"

At this moment from key handler I like to close pane without confirm.
(If the process is running I want to show confirm dialog)

How can I do it ?
