Trouble detecting long URLs (breaking on 11'th line of terminal display)

I use a CLI tool that generates login URLs to the AWS Console for different AWS accounts. The URLs generated all appear to be 1609 characters long.

When I mouse over a URL, the URL detection picks up part of the URL, then seems to detect chunks after that.

• It doesn't appear to be breaking at a specific character length. In three tests it breaks at 961, 1021 and 991 characters.
• It doesn't appear to be breaking at any particularly unique characters, it happens the in middle of alphabetic strings.
• It does always seem to break on the right-most character of the 11'th line of the URL. Resizing the window, the URL detection appears to stay broken on the same character.

Is there a way to increase the length of text that URL detection operates over? I've had a look through the documentation and haven't found anything that would appear to change that.
