Uh, this is weird. Can you take a look @denschub? It took quite a while to load... and what did load is bogus.

Huh, now that's a large "switch to mobile version" notice, isn't it? Anyway -- looks like we are zoomed into the site, while Chrome is not.

Looking at the site, it has <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width">. In both Firefox and Chrome, the overlay is much larger than the viewport:

But as we already know, Chrome zooms out to make the content fit, which we don't. The overlay in question is #switchContainer, which unfortunately has position: fixed; width: 100%; on it. In addition, #outerWrapper has width: 1217px; on it, so it will most likely always burst the viewport.

Quite honestly, there is not much we can do here, since this is their desktop version and reducing the width breaks everything. Given that they do not offer a responsive version, they probably could set their viewport width to 1217, which would solve the issue for us without affecting other browsers. I honestly do not have a better workaround to suggest here... :/

This is another example for the importance of @karlcow's (and others) work on viewport specs.

Adding needscontact, so we can try to get in touch with them.

yup "duplicate" of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1123938. Firefox doesn't have a notion of virtual viewport.
