Description

As part of the MVP catch-up objective, we need to create the deployment documentation in our repository. This documentation must be made using the guidelines described in:

@wazuhci wazuhci moved this to Backlog in XDR+SIEM/Release 5.0.0 Mar 11, 2025
@Desvelao Desvelao self-assigned this Mar 12, 2025

Update

I am working into creating the installation guide for Wazuh dashboard based on the current documentation. I added the steps to install the Wazuh dashboard package locally due to the Wazuh repository could not have hosted the package.

The current documentation uses the version in some commands, I guess we should include this version too to manage specific package versions, example:

sudo yum upgrade wazuh-dashboard-<version>

Reference: https://documentation.wazuh.com/4.10/upgrade-guide/upgrading-central-components.html#upgrading-the-wazuh-manager

How do we manage this? Should we define a variable in the markdown files and use a preprocessor to replace the variables?
