Some browser extensions prevent app from loading #85

Hi, do you think you could open up a dev console in the browser and let me know if you see any errors? The exact OS / browser you're using would be useful too - thanks! |
I have the same issue, here's what I get in a console;
Windows 10, Firefox v83.0 |
Thanks for the info. I've got a feeling that the CORS request error is a bit misleading and that it's likely a different connectivity issue that's the root cause of the problem. How about browser extensions? Do you have any which might be blocking requests? You could always try Exportify in a Private/Incognito window where extensions usually don't run unless specifically enabled, to see if it works there. For example, on OSX with Firefox 83, installing the Privacy Badger extension results in exactly the same behavior and error message that you get: |
Thank you both for your quick responses / getting involved! I can confirm that disabling Privacy Badger fixed the issue for me! Wondering if having that installed is more hassle than worth... Thanks again, Kevin |
ah yeah I had privacy badger running too. |
Ah, great that we have a clear cause 🙂 . I think I'll leave this issue open for the time being, since it might be useful to others. Even if nothing can be done to work around problems caused by browser extensions, I could perhaps do more in future to point users in the right direction, for example when the spinner is shown for more than X seconds. In the meantime I'd be curious to know if other people know of different commonly used extensions that break Exportify 😓 . |
Hi, I have been using this for quite some time now and it has been brilliant so thank you!
The last few months I have been unable to view my playlists and now it appears stuck at the spinner.
I haven't added any new playlists and I have been waiting for quite some time!
Is this a known issue?
