Launching the demo is convoluted

The full documentation is spread across multiple sub-directories and can not be located in a particular order. Additionally some necessary documentation is missing. Combine this with all of the pieces that need to be installed locally, which can cause compatibility issues, makes the demo very difficult to get running.

This should be fixed by PR #7 which puts the project in to a VM.
