  1. start program
  2. enter https://github.com
  3. press enter
  4. wait for page to load
  5. click address bar
  6. try to type https://example.com
  7. nothing happens

I think this issue is more about being unable to edit the URL bar than the page not loading.

  1. try to type https://example.com/
  2. nothing happens

I found it was more reproducible to navigate to https://youtube.com, and then while it is loading, attempting to backspace, about 2 presses every second, and gradually the input seems to slow down and stop altogether, while the page is attempting to load.

Also, this is reproducible on the Linux & Flatpak builds

Can confirm the address bar has weird issues with Linux and KDE KWin with Wayland and the Flatpak nightly builds of Verso. When clicking the address bar there is no text cursor and no visual change indicating that it even has focus, and sometimes after clicking it and starting to type, it simply doesn't seem to accept the input. Then when I open another window it works again, for some reason.
