Some useful kernel packages
Since it is known that from kernel version 6.2 onwards, Mediatek chipsets have issues using their VIF (Virtual Interface Functionality) feature, some versions of the 6.1 kernel can be found in the useful_kernels
folder to work flawlessly with these Mediatek chipsets. Hopefully, the kernel will be fixed soon, as documented in the kernel.org bug tracker. Meanwhile, here are the deb files of versions that work correctly.
This is completely unofficial, so don't ask airgeddon staff about it. Don't request anything to be included and don't open any issue regarding this. Just contact us if you have one of the missing deb packages.
How to create a deb package from an installed tool? pretty easy. Install dpkg-repack tool by apt install dpkg-repack
, then create deb file from an installed package of your choice, for example: dpkg-repack aircrack-ng
. So, if you have installed one of the missing packages for any of the architectures, please create it and contact us to try to complete the repo.
