Current Defects:

1. Trying to edit pair info (“Detail Pair”): Only view, cannot change details. - Completed
2. Editing tank info (“Detail Tank”): Only view, not save changes. - Completed
3. Importing engine XML with missing fields: No error or validation. - Completed
4. Adding a tank with unsupported location units: No unit validation or error message. - Completed
5. Pairing engines and thrusters from different models: No check; action not blocked. - Completed
6. Exporting engine-thruster pairs to XML: Not implemented.
7. Assigning a tank to two locations: Only one location per tank stored.
8. Deleting an engine that’s in a pair: Cannot do this directly; must remove pair first.
9. Bulk importing tanks with duplicate names: No duplicate check; both added.
10. Simulating fuel transfer between tanks: No logic or UI for this.
11. Adding a tank with unsupported capacity units: No validation, any string accepted. - Completed
12. Importing tank types not supported in schema: No validation or rejection
13. Searching/filtering in “Available Thrusters”: No search or filter feature.
14. Saving all propulsion info and restoring after restart: No save/load implemented.
15. Undoing changes after editing: No undo function. - Completed
16. Warning for duplicate tank names: No warning or prevention. - Completed
17. Blocking engine/thruster pairing from different models: Not checked or blocked.
18. Exporting tab state for backup: Not supported.
19. Summary panel for engine-thruster assignments: Not present.

Adding the save functionality requires me to a significant amount of code in the propulsion tab. Suggesting a hold on any changes for now.
