How to draw the combos as a layer, separately?

I very like your drawing your combo diagrams (the last one in https://github.com/urob/zmk-config/blob/3ee00d589a477d2b2345a1bfd7aadfe352171574/draw/base.svg) separately, may I wonder how to do that?

Essentially I am adding a virtual layer and then remove the combos from all other layers between the parse and draw steps.
