Sites own domain appears in referrers after upgrading to v2.16.1

Describe the Bug

After upgrading to 2.16.1, the domain of the site tracked started appearing in the list of referrers, as if it was a traffic source for itself.

I am fairly confident it was not there in 2.15.1 and don't recall seeing it there in 2.16.0 either, although I only ran that version shortly before 2.16.1 dropped.
