Some chars make the cursor move too much

It’s hard to describe the behavior so I made a small video. Apparently some chars like ’ (commonly used in French) make the cursor move two places instead of one. It workable when I’m just typing but if I try to edit my text (by moving backward for instance) then the cursor is always misplaced and it becomes tricky to know what I’m editing

Note: I tried "main" branch which seemed to contain a fix from modalkit related to char lengths (ulyssa/modalkit@01434bb) but it didn’t work either

@ulyssa I proposed a fix in modalkit: ulyssa/modalkit#199 I tested CJK chars and they seem to work correctly too with that fix
