Can the # selector be used for an element with : in its ID?

The element in question has an ID of awsui-tabs-:rds-console-rt:-monitoring-panel.

uBlock says #awsui-tabs-:rds-console-rt:-monitoring-panel is an invalid filter, which I think is correct.

In the dev tools console, the element can be selected with document.querySelector('#awsui-tabs-\\:rds-console-rt\\:-monitoring-panel'), but uBlock doesn't consider #awsui-tabs-\\:rds-console-rt\\:-monitoring-panel to be valid in a filter, either.

div[id="awsui-tabs-:rds-console-rt:-monitoring-panel"] works, but I'm curious if this can be done with the # selector.

Ugh, that does work. I made a dumb mistake when I tested a single backslash.
