Welcome to the Institute Management System – your one-stop solution for effortless institute administration and academic management! 🚀

Installation 🚧

  1. Install XAMP server on Windows: - Install XAMPP if not already installed. It's an easy-to-use development environment that includes Apache, MySQL, PHP, and more.
  2. Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/saharshwadekar/Institute-management-system.git
  3. Move repository: Move the cloned repository in xampp/htdocs folder.
  4. Database Setup:
    • Start XAMPP Control Panel and click the "Start" button next to Apache and MySQL to run the local server.
    • Access phpMyAdmin by clicking the "Admin" button next to MySQL in XAMPP Control Panel.
    • Create a new database named Institute-management-system.
    • Click on the newly created database and choose the "Import" option from the top menu.
    • Upload the SQL database file provided with the project (named as Institute-management-system.sql).
  5. Run Project: On any browser open your localhost by accessing the url: http://localhost/Institute-management-system/Login/login.php

For your convenience, here are the default login credentials for the initial setup:

Please remember to change the default passwords for security purposes after the initial setup.

Usage 🚀

  1. Explore: Open a web browser and navigate to: http://localhost/Institute-management-system/Login/login.php
  2. Login: Use your role-based credentials (Admin, Teacher, Student).
  3. Experience: Dive into the tailored dashboard and unleash the power of the system!
