AI Security Assessment Harness
Copyright (c) 2025-2026 Red Hat, Inc.
This product includes software developed by third parties.
1. defending-code-reference-harness
Copyright 2026 Anthropic PBC
Licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0
(full text: LICENSES/Apache-2.0.txt)
The following components are derivative works of that project's
Claude Code skills, modified by Red Hat (modification history in
CHANGELOG.md):
- harnessing/4-triage/triage/ (ported at harness v0.22.0)
- harnessing/2-threat-model/threat-model/ (ported at harness v0.23.0)
- harnessing/7-remediate/patch/ (ported at harness v0.23.0)
- harnessing/3-audit/vuln-scan/ (ported at harness v0.37.0)
- src/traust/cli/checkpoint.py (from the origin's skill library)

The vuln-scan skill's vulnerability category menu, DO-NOT-REPORT
false-positive exclusions, per-finding confidence pass, and the
exploit_scenario/recommendation output fields are adapted from that
project's /security-review command.

The following third-party software is NOT embedded in or vendored into
this source distribution — the harness invokes it as an unmodified
subprocess on PATH, or fetches it at run time to a local cache. No
license obligation attaches to this source repository for these. The
license texts are carried here so that any downstream distribution which
DOES bundle them (a job image, a packaged release) already ships the
required notices; carriage is prepared, not triggered.
3. YARA (engine)

Copyright (c) 2007-2016. The YARA Authors. All Rights Reserved.
Licensed under the BSD 3-Clause License
(full text: LICENSES/BSD-3-Clause-yara.txt)
Invoked as an unmodified subprocess binary by the yara adapter (`traust adapters yara`, traust_engine.adapters.yara)
(the malware-family pre-scan for secure-container-audit and
secure-rpm-audit). Not linked, not vendored.
4. ReversingLabs YARA Rules
https://github.com/reversinglabs/reversinglabs-yara-rules
Copyright (c) 2020 ReversingLabs
Licensed under the MIT License
(full text: LICENSES/MIT-reversinglabs-yara-rules.txt)
The default rule pack for the yara adapter (`traust adapters yara`) — fetched at run time
to the user cache, pinned by commit SHA (RL_RULES_SHA), never
vendored into this tree. A swappable input, replaceable via --rules.
