Steps to Reproduce

1. Open topcoder.com
2. Click Sign Up -> I'm The Talent
3. Fill in the Sign Up form and enter a Username/handle containing. @ character
4. Notice if the UI flags the error before submitting the form
5. Click on Sign Up
6. Check the spec at https://marvelapp.com/prototype/9hihec1/screen/78977371
