Best practice's for representing a company's open source presence on LinkedIn

Hello everyone, I’m interested on existing material on a “strategy” for representing a company’s open source presence on LinkedIn.

Some questions that come to mind:

1. who is the target audience? possibly - potential talent, decision makers on customers and partners, etc…
2. should it be a dedicated page, a showcase page (sub-page of the company’s main page), or just post on the company’s main page?
3. should it be “centered” around the topic of open source, or around the OSPO as an entity within the company?

I have searched about for open source and open source program offices on LinkedIn, here are some findings:

• Open Source Program Office / OSPO
  • Groups: Found two groups about OSPOs, language or local based communities, not company specific
  • Company (as the company entity in LinkedIn, not necessarily an actual company): Found 3 OSPOs, two from universities, one from a company
• Open Source
  • Group: A lot of groups related to Open Source sub-topics, events, projects and foundations, but I could not find groups about Open Source for a specific company
  • Company (as the company entity in LinkedIn, not necessarily an actual company): Found companies with Open Source in the nam, foundations and communities. Found a Showcase page representing Meta (Facebook) Open Source.
    • Explicitly searched for other big players (Google, Amazon/AWS, Microsoft, Netflix + Open Source), but could not find a page (company or showcase)

Personally, I'm more inclined to have it centered around the OSPO, as it is not just a topic, but an actual entity inside the company, and it reflects the importance of having such an office.

Could you please share your experience and/or opinions on the topic?
