From school of hard knocks, by an nt-emacs user.
There's a bug in emacs 28.2 nxml that causes failure to find schema files. https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/emacs-bug-tracker/2022-10/msg00545.html. I patched the offending file, but still had problems, so I ended up upgrading to emacs 29.4.
The xslide installation instructions aren't explicit about separately downloading the xslt-relax-ng project and installing it in the site-lisp/xslide directory.
Adding these notes to README might help other novices.
After that, xslide3 works great! Thanks Tony and others.
