Bug: Issue with password and * character #43

What happened?

Copy your password containing * characters (for example Zoubida***11)
Then start the application, paste your password in the field.
Then don't submit, but clik on the little eye right to the password field: the * chars are not present. Password is now Zoubida11.
If you paste again the password, then it's correct. Quit & restart 2FAGuard.exe to reproduce.

A little more annoying is that at password creation I used * chars, but they also were filtered.

Spent a lot of time trying to find out why my password only worked one out of two times... :)

Windows 11 Family, 23H2 build 22631.4169. System language French

What version of the app are you using?

1.5.1.0 (desktop)

Hi, thanks for reporting this weird bug. I have created an issue in the GitHub repository of the UI library 2FAGuard uses: lepoco/wpfui#1250
