Add Annotation Overlay #155
Labels
Comments
The UMD Libraries are looking to upgrade our IIIF Viewer and like the Accessibility features in TIFY. However we also have a requirement for Annotation support. What is the status of the work on this issue? Is there any timeline for its release? |
@wallberg The next release which includes support for annotation overlays is planned for the end of October. |
@t11r thank you! |
Many thanks for this work! We are hoping for this as well. Currently we are
using the full-text view in beta to show transcriptions of correspondence
side by side with images, and while the line-by-line overlays (as in
Mirador and Theseus) are not essential as the texts are quite short, it
would be useful in some circumstances.
