Doesn't work when styles are within folders

I've tried this with colours only:

When a colour style is in a folder, e.g. Text/Primary, the plugin doesn't seem to work.
If I create a style that's not inside a folder, e.g. Text Primary, the plugin works as expected.

Have you found your fix yet? I am running into all sorts of problems, and I am not sure if I should invest more time into this plugin when it's just plainly broken :/
