Artifact or Point Source at latitudes -90º and +90º

Hello,

I am using GSM2016 to simulate the sky at frequecy 980 MHz. I found a very bright artifact or point source when doing healpy gnomview at the north and south galactic poles (attached image). Do you have any idea what it is?

Hi Miguel -- I'm a bit late, but that does indeed look like an artifact. Can I confirm that you don't see it with the GSM08?

As a sidenote, Centaurus A is not present in GSM2016. I have been meaning to add some documentation that mentions this (and other quirks of the various GSMs, like the one you've uncovered above).
